Old Davidean Andy Otley
Those of you who remember Andy (Tryfan House) at St David's might recall his excellent performance of Knuckles in Bugsy Malone! We are delighted to announce that Andy is returning to entertain us as we dance the night away.

Andy Otley’s talent took him to the television finals of the BBC programme The Voice in 2014. Ever since, he has become an established performer at corporate events and for special occasions. Andy has an incredible on-stage presence and a beautiful, soulful voice, with a smile able to dazzle any audience. Entertaining certainly runs in his blood, as his uncle is none other than the legendary comedian, Ken Dodd. Andy learnt from the best, with Ken helping him to develop his skills as a performer. Andy Otley crosses genres with his rousing style and vocal artistry.

To prevent waiting in queues, there will be a bar where additional drinks can be pre-ordered. Or you can go to the bar and order in person 'Old School' style - hopefully with a shorter queue!

Old Davidean Ben Roberts (former Deputy Head Boy, Cader House) pictured here as the guest speaker on Speech Day 2022, has designed some ODA 50th Anniversary cufflinks and bracelets as well as offering to sponsor the welcome drinks for the ball. Prices are to be confirmed and the designs can be pre-ordered before the ball.

Willow & Hawthorn - Tim Groves

The beautiful scented candle table favours are being gifted by former Head of Snowdon, Tim Groves.

Tim and his wife Kim have recently launched a home fragrance brand called Willow and Hawthorn. They specialize in creating artisan candles and wax melts, using sustainably sourced, 100% natural rapeseed wax and mix of carefully blended high quality fragrance and essential oils. Their products are hand poured in small batches at their home in Somerset. Inspired by their love for the great outdoors and the beauty of nature surrounding them, each scent is thoughtfully crafted to evoke memories of the English countryside.
